Newborn Photography
Best within the first 7 - 14 days; book while pregnant to reserve around your due date.
Choose a package & check datesAbout your session
Your newborn session is a quiet, baby-led experience rather than a race through a pose list. The studio is warm and prepared before you arrive, with wraps, outfits and soft props ready. We pause whenever your baby needs feeding, changing or simply holding, and every photograph is created with comfort and safety first.

The experience
Newborn sessions usually take between two and three-and-a-half hours depending on your package and your baby. Much of that time is deliberately unhurried: feeding, cuddling and settling are part of the experience, not interruptions.
If your baby needs a break, we stop. A content, safely supported baby matters more than completing a particular pose.
The studio, wraps, outfits, backdrops and age-appropriate props are prepared before you arrive.
Every baby is different. We adapt the flow to sleep, feeding and comfort rather than promising identical images.
Before you arrive
Try to feed your baby shortly before arriving, or feed comfortably once you are here. Loose clothing that is easy to remove helps us move into the first setup without waking them. Bring your usual feeding supplies, nappies, a dummy if used, and any sentimental item you would love considered.
A carefully selected collection of wraps, blankets, bonnets, headbands, outfits and simple props.
Extra feeds, nappies, wipes, a change of clothes for adults and baby, and one or two meaningful keepsakes if you wish.

On sessions £150 and over.
A non-refundable booking fee secures your slot and is included in the price. Transferable with 72 hours' notice.
Good to know
The classic sleepy newborn window is around 7–14 days after birth. Babies often settle into curled poses more easily then, but it is a guide rather than an expiry date.
Your baby’s safety is our top priority. We are trained in safe newborn handling and posing, and any complex setups are done with the utmost care so your baby is comfortable and supported throughout.
Absolutely. We adapt the session to your baby, using wrapped, awake and connection-led photographs where appropriate. Beautiful newborn portraits do not stop being possible on day fifteen.
Book during pregnancy if possible. We reserve around your due date, then arrange the actual session once baby arrives. The booking calendar uses the due or birth date to suggest a helpful window.
It’s best to book while you’re still pregnant. We reserve a window around your due date and adjust the exact date once your baby arrives.
Feed shortly before arrival or plan to feed in the studio. Dress baby in something loose and easy to remove, and avoid tight socks or waistbands that leave temporary marks.
Bring feeding supplies, nappies, wipes, a dummy if used, spare clothes and any sentimental item you would like considered. We provide wraps, outfits, backdrops and studio props.
Sessions take place by appointment in our private home studio in Flitwick, Bedfordshire (MK45). The full address and arrival instructions are shown after your booking is secured, rather than published publicly.
The booking fee shown with your package secures your chosen slot and forms part of the total package price. Your date is only confirmed after successful payment. The booking terms explain transfer, cancellation and refund conditions before you pay.
